Coding "convenience" features

Again, looking at a very early coupe. At the moment it isn't coded to drop the drivers window as the door opens from 2 quick presses on the keyfob, unlike my current car (05 model year)

Does anyone know if I'm likely to run into any problems wuth getting a dealer or indy to recode this feature? Other than wallet bashing of course

Easy done with a £20 interface from ebay and a windows laptop.

I've programmed this feature on one of my keys.

Sorry what I was trying to say was does anyone know if there are any differences between the very early facelift cars and the earlier cars that might get in the way of this?

The car doesn't have aux input for the stereo for example, though a separate lead has been added at some point
 
I enabled it on my pre-facelift car but it doesn't seem to work. I wasn't really worried about it so didn't bother looking into why...
