coding / alarm beeping problem e89 2010 23i sdrive

Hi , since i coded my car to auto fold the side mirrors with remote
it works brilliantly but the car starts beeping after 20 seconds

when i just lock the car its fine and it doesn't beep
but when i keep the key pressed so that the mirrors can auto fold then the car alarm goes after a while
the red signal under the rear view mirror blinks really quick while keeping the key pressed . but it gets steady after a few seconds if i just lock the car with one click (without auto folding)

it doesn't seem like a coding issue too me

any suggestions ? could it be the battery or the bonnet sensor ?

I have this coded on a E89 2009 I set mirror fold and also the beep to confirm locked. The beep to set the lock is so feeble that I didn't realise it was working at first. There's no problem with the alarm triggering on mine. I didn't manage to get the mirrors to auto fold on lock although I set what I think is the right option for that. I have to hold to lock.

Delayed beeping used to get me on the e85 and it was the bonnet switch - or the dog moving about inside if I had forgotten to switch off the movement sensor.
