Code P2006

Hi All,

Asking for someone else but does anyone know if P2006 is likely to be a Disa Valve issue? If not, what else is it likely to be?

It would appear from a google search P2006 referes to the Disa Valve.
Here is a link for a how to test the Disa with it off the car, its simole to remove just undo the bolts that hold it on and extract it, check the rubber swealing gasket is in good order when you put it back after testing. If it needs replacing they are not cheap so shop around but go for a known make.

That's the conclusion I'd arrived at but the guy says he has already replaced the Disa valve
 
Check the electrical connector is clean and making good contact, clear trhe code and give the car a run to see if it comes back. If it returns pull the Disa and test it as per video link posted earlier. If it has been replaced before check out the seal is sealing ok.
