Replaced OEM Lear DSP amp with another DSP amp out a (slightly) later Z4 - newer part number - but the sub is coming in intermitent .

Is this a legacy of water damage on cables from a month ago ?

Or does it need coding ?

Or have I just had my pants pulled down off ebay and bought a dud, and should of gone down the aftermarket route...

Answers on a postcard. I need some good news.
 
I mean are amps simply plug and play (subject to part compatability) or do I need SSS/Diagnostics to set it up for my st nav car (unlikely from my googling...)
