According to DIS I have errors 2E27, 2E1B and 29D0

Looks like number 4 ignition coil has gone?

Engine is running rough.

Are these easy to replace?

Sure are. Withdraw them with a long screwdriver through the circular plastic lever once released.

Popped out the coil pack and to my surprise it's only 2 years old??? Date stamp 7/1/16.

I bought the car 2 years ago, so must have been changed just before I bought it.

Seems a bit premature for a coil failure?

Did you take out the sparkplug as well? You defo need to check that. Coil packs can fail randomly though unfortunately and your fault codes are pretty specific.

It is very likely to be cyl 4 coil pack or spark plug. DO CHECK that it wasn't just a case of the coil pack connector not pushed fully home though the last time the coil packs were replaced. Seen that before!!!

Yep, checked the plug. Looks fine.

Having looked at the new coil, the date codes are actually yy/mm/dd so the old coils are 2007, so not so bad after all!

New coil in and running sweet as a nut.

Thanks for the help.
