Clutch issues - can they be resolved...?

No downsides, and it works. Removing CDV, transmission mounts & ZHP knob should all be mandatory for these cars. It'll transform ur shifting experience.
Why would removing transmission mounts and ZHP knob transform the shifting experience :poke: :P

BTW, I've left mine on - despite buying a bored out one ready to fit (somewhere in the garage). Am completely used to it now, and the only issue is the 1-2 stiffness when the box is cold.

lol!!! exactly what i was thinking???? honest to god, what a load of poop.... its a average gearbox setup, changing the mounts and gear-knob doesn't make it excellent.... i took off the CDV and was completely underwhelmed by the lack of transformation.... i noticed no difference at all, i do however have those stiffer trans mounts ready to go in the car.....

So why buy the stiffer mounts if it's a load of poop? Oh yeah :attentionwhore:
These upgrades work. Stock transmission mounts are like marshmallows and need to be upgraded. The ZHP knob adds a shorter throw and some weight. The modified CDV worked well in combination with the other two. This isn't new news - search and learn

Removing the CDV does allow swifter clutch engagement, but I've only noticed a difference when quickly double declutching at high rpm or with very swift up changes. Day to day there is no difference. Why would there be when, in gentle driving, the clutch is engaged slowly and more progressively?
