Anything by LUK is usually pretty good and they are OEM with a lot of manufacturers.
I wouldnt go solid. Its there for a reason and stops harmonic issues , so although more expensive , would stick with the DMF. You havent stated the mileage on the car and it might be the flywheel is OK . There is ways to measure it. Its not a massive faff to get the box out . Not like some FWD or 4wd cars, if you have the lift and tools.
Always best to check the various discount combinations between GSF, Carparts4Less & EuroCaParts. Particularly around bank holidays.
It may be cheaper to pick up the clutch kit from one and the flywheel from another.

I've definitely seen the flywheel cheaper after discounts. Should be achievable for about £350 i think.

Thats pretty low mileage in the grand scheme of things for a dmf to start rattling. I guess the real way to find out is to inspect it when out and confirm the problem.

I'm not a mechanic or even remotely handy under the bonnet, but I think I recall reading on here in the past that sound being diagnosed as something else - before you chuck money at a new dmf without really being certain.
I have a kak memory and lack of tech knowledge means I don't even know if I'm using the right terms, but I think I recall something about a prop shaft bearing (and maybe the term donut??).
Theres some vague memory about it as my car makes that noise too and I think the consensus was that many do and it's not really a big issue (apart from the noise) - hence I've never really done anything about looking further into mine.
Hopefully someone with a better memory/tech knowledge (or a fetish for the search tool) will chip in and confirm if this is all bollox or not.

I also recall something about layshaft bearing??

Something about some shaft making a noise on its bearing when not under load as the oil warms up and gets thinner, but as not under load when doing it any wear etc is negligible so not a huge worry.
I remember someone posting that they replaced their clutch and flywheel but noise still being there.

Mine does make a slight noise when out of gear and just idling and then goes quiet when I press the clutch pedal. Thought it might be the release bearing just glancing the pressure plate and spinning.

Last time I had that issue it was on a Sierra Sapphire (I'm old OK) but by the time the gearbox was off it seemed daft not to have a new clutch as well. (No DMF on them thankfully)!
