The CDV should never have been put on the motor in the first place... fortunately I had mine done within the first few weeks of owning the car because I thought I needed a new clutch... even the guy who did it for me as surprised at the noticeable difference

Yeh I intend to do this aswell. I noticed people say you can remove the CDV valve completely, but I havent seen anywhere that says how it connects?

Does removing it completely have the same connector or do you have to do something else?

Or is it that removing the middle part of your CDV is easy and no point in removing it completely.

I understand the reason for leaving it in for warranty purposes but im past that point

The CDV has male and female connections so when you remove you just connect the remaining two pipes together. You need to check there is enough slack though and personally I would use a modified CDV to keep everything looking right.

You planning to do it on the M? I was disappointed when I did an M that it felt no different (whilst on my 3.0 it was huge).

I removed mine a while back, and whilst it definitely improved the clutch feel, I didn't think the gain was as great as some suggest.

Remove CDV and connect together what's left.

i thought it was a decent improvement on my 3.0 immediately after doing it, but held off on doing the M as there were mixed reviews on here. when i finally took the plunge i was really disappointed for about a week or so (its my daily driver), but once i stopped trying to compensate for it and adjusted my driving back to "normal" the difference is huge and i would highly recommend it!
