Clutch concern

Just purchased a 2007 6sp and noticed the clutch engages very high; nearly as soon as I depress the clutch pedal. Is this a sign that I may need a clutch replacement, or is just the way this clutch performs? It's still under warranty for another year. Thanks

It should engage about mid-way in the travel. A high biting point could be the clutch getting to the end of its life but it is difficult to judge without taking it out.

If you have a year of warranty, I would see how you get on. To check for clutch slip - accelarate hard in 3rd or 4th going up hill. That would show up any slippage at an early stage.

My clutch engages on the high side, always has so it might NOT be a worn out clutch. IIRC, my 325 also engaged high. Since it's under warranty, just have it checked next time you're in for service.
