Clutch burning smell??

Hi all, just purchased my first Z4 this weekend (3.0 si roadster) and have noticed something a bit weird. The car has only covered 25k and has been pampered by previous owners so i know it hasn't been abused, however i took the car to a local multi storey car park and while on a ramp noticed a clutch burning smell?? it was very distinct but disappeared in no time. The gearbox/clutch felt fine, no judder or crunching. Later the same day was driving along without pressing the clutch at all and got the same smell? Has anyone else experienced this?? I work with cars and i know how to burn a clutch, and on both occasions i was definately not pushing the car at all??

Are Z4's a bit notorious for brake bind? If so is it fixable or is it a characteristic of the car? (1st Z4 so a little clueless i'm afraid!!)..

When I recently had pads and discs changed on the front my brakes were actually smoking when I got back from a 'spirited' drive. If you have all the driving aids on the System apparently kicks in a lot more than you realise and can cause this smell - happened to me few times without pushing it too.

Hi all, had the day off yesterday so took the car down to a friends garage and had all the brakes stripped, checked, greased sliders, pistons and seals checked, pads and disks checked for abnormal wear and re assembled. I will keep you posted if the burning smell comes back.
