Clunk from front whilst driving

I have had a slight clunk noise coming from the front for quite sometime, originally it was seldom heard other than when reversing the car out the driveway down the dropped kerb on full lock, from then on month by month its been heard a bit more often, normally when driving on uneven roads.
Last Summer during it's MOT the nsf shock absorber was replaced, but the springs were ok, I mentioned about the bushes failing and they checked and there was no play.

Over the last month the noise has got much worse and is there almost all the time, especially when going over uneven surfaces and turning (even at very low speed)

Obviously it needs to go in, but any ideas what the issue may be?

ive got the same, assuming its just the anti roll bar
Is yours a large clunk akin to a large clunk/crack noise? and is it there most of the time now? - it the anti roll bar an item that needs tightening or is it an item that fails regularly and needs replacing ?

Drop links

I had the same prob a couple weeks ago on near side, now I think off side is going. I should have replaced both

I had exactly the same and it turned out to be the strut braces under the bonnet both needed tightening up 1/4 turn and hey presto no noise, worth a check I was all ready to replace bushes etc

Just an update- thanks to 'breadvan' for his input, having finished work early yesterday I washed the car then set about looking at the strut braces, no hand movement from the braces themselves, nor the nuts by pulling on them..... or so I thought - after taking a socket wrench to the nuts each turned a significant amount (around half a turn, to one and a half turns across all the nuts), with each now as tight as possible by hand.

I went out later on :driving: and low and behold the noise has now completely gone :D

So guys remember to check your nuts, it will save you embarrassment at a later date!
