Doesn't seem too expensive to me for how much better it looks. Getting clears and tinting can't come out much cheaper?

IIRC they were around £110 all in with the shipping and customs charges, and that was a sale offer. Add in the cost of respraying with tint, and the fact that you'll need to re-tint at least every couple of years (or pay £45 for the lamin-x red tints) then Ranski's seem pretty cost effective. Quad spots seem to go for over £200 on ebay/gumtree etc

Would get then myself if I didn't already have a set of tinted clears

Tinted mine nearly 2 years ago and look as good as the day I did them.

The key is to clear lacquer over the tint so it doesn't fade and need redoing.
