Hi gang. I have had my gear shift paddles fixed, following which the car needed about 3 hours to have the coding finished (apparently). Following a fantastic long weekend over to Bruges with the roof down nearly the whole time, I have realised I can not now
A) shut the windows with the key in the lock, or the fob, if the roof is up but windows are down or
B) shut the roof with the key in the lock.
I am sure before the car was in I could do this. I have googled here and elsewhere, and it seems you can not use the fob to do this (without SmartTop or similar) but am I correct that I should be able to do this with my key in the lock? It is useful to get out of the car with the roof down sometimes or window open to ease entry/exit. I want to check before I book the car back in again with BMW for coding.
I can open the roof with the fob still, by the way. The car is a March 2012 28i.
