Remind me of an MGTF dials - think you would be bette of changing the illumination to blue to make a bigger difference

Fairly easy ....just solder in new LEDs in the circuit board....colour of your choice.

That's a pretty impressive job OP.

To be honest I wasn't sure about them to start with, but they look much better fitted and illuminated!

Wonderful job you've done there, looks very nice. But once you take the clocks out of the car, do they need to be recalibrated to display the correct mph/rpm etc? once you've reinstalled the dial needles. By the way, I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, just curious.

Needles would have looked better with just a red central stripe imho. Good effort but not my cuppa.

I'm a fan of the originals I think. These look somewhat harder to read with the white background. Good effort nonetheless.

I changed the LEDs in mine to white smds. Only thing to look out for is there are 4 right angled LEDs at the outer edge of the dials that are different to the rest of them

Where did you get the white speedo faces from? Are they just stickers that stick over the original black Speedo?

Would be interested in different colours...

That looks miles better IMO, the one with white backgrounds look very aftermarket.

Thanks. It was a bit scary taking it all apart. I used a guide from a e46 forum and had some trouble putting it all back together with the digital display but all good now.
