Climate question

Hello, just got a 2003 e85 Z4, 2.5i. I am curious about whether the car came with AC or not. I don't have a snowflake button on my climate control, searched already on forums (and AI chats) and apparently all Z4s came standard with AC, while the missing button means it should operate automatically when you put it on cold. Is that correct?
Yes, I could just check for the compressor but I'm away for a week.
What do you guys know about this?

Yup, you have the basic version, without it. Only seen one other tbh.

It looks indeed like you have the manual heater control, instead of automatic climate control. The manual control could also be had with AC, but appears not on your car.
