So settling down to eat my tea and up pops a bearded climatologist on the news to announce were all doomed and eating my tea will be a thing of the past :?

It's not like BMW have been doing a lot to change is it? (i range, smaller more efficient "sports" engines).

taxed mrs mad4's Peugeot 206 diesel the other day , 20 quid !!! my m was 269. 50 for six months ! absolute rip off thanks to the green co2 obsessed planet saving doom mongers. I did under 3k in my coupe last year, she does 25 k and could do 50 and she would still be thought of as less polluting. the whole system is bollox and needs a bottom up rethink. the ipcc is again trying to scaremonger goverments and everyone else with increasingly wild claims and predictions for the planets future. they went quiet for a few years after the ficticious hockey stick graph and false figures were exposed re global warming so re thought their strategy and invented a new name , climate change. there is now no balanced argument, because anyone who questions the science or dares to put another view is publicly ridiculed and removed from any exposure in the media. It has become the new religion, I fear for the future, not from climate change but from the erosion of the peoples rights and freedom of speech, from the nanny state , from the war on the motorist at the same time as proper criminals , thieves , violent offenders , fraudsters and online scammers are sent home with a caution. :thumbsdown: :headbang: tomorrow I will take the M for a blast to swing the balance !!!
 
Bigger waves, hotter Summers. not quite as far to travel to the beach. I'm off to do a few hundren more miles, in my Zed, just for the hell of it. :evil: :driving:
