Climate change

This seems about right... :(

Why do all politics have to be one way or the other.

The USA under Bush was a bit pants, but all said and done Bush wanted good for US citizens. It seems Obama is just some leftie liberal at the extreme and just wants to sign the US jobs/prosperity away for the next century.

Madman. I'm glad congress still has some proper US balls to stop retarded nu-liberals!

Hehe,

Looks like some scientists trying to cover their arses with context arguements... the contributions by others (sorted by popularity) are an amusing read.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/guest_contributors/article6948008.ece

You just find out more of the dodgy activities that were undertaken. Seems the consensus was found by simply not allowing anyone who would say anything contrary to the intended outcome of saying man was to blam, to have a say!

Completely political it seems. Almost zero real science that is now meaningful because it's all peer reviewed by people who won't find fault, and it is all chosen to make sure it says the same thing!

How can the CRU, who seem to have been paid ~ £10 million+ to investigate MMGW, have come up with any other conclusion. It should have been to be paid irrespective of the outcome... but that just wouldn't get the results some clearly want I suppose (ie, a good tax excuse)

Bad days for democray and science :(

just seen the copenhagen party, sorry convention on global warming, sorry tax revenue ideas, there is literally thousands of them, the hot air from them alone will push up world temperatures!

There are aproximatly 15000 of them !!!!!! and of course they all walked or rode push bikes to get there, ( I think not) and no doubt will be burning god knows how many lights (even during the small amount of daylight hours there is there), and of course because they couldnt choose anywhere warmer, the heating will be going full blast etc etc
heard on the news today 20,000 of them flying to have a nees up what a joke :fuelfire:

I saw an article in our paper about the number of limos on the streets for the Party in Copenhagen.
Normal limo usage = 15
Party in copenhagen usage = 200+

Just think, all those limos, idling all day to keep warm.

Are you getting mad yet? I sure did, when the politicians have the f'in nerve to impose fuel surcharges and co2 taxes they should be walking in their mukluks with their mittens on, not riding in limos!!!!

i see gordys given away another £1.5 billion on our behalf, its great you are totally bankrupt with the economy gone down the drain and no realistic hope of ever paying off the debt, yet you can still keep throwing money away like theres no tomorrow, i want that job! (and i bet hes still getting his £150,000 a year, pity hes not paid on results hed get 2p this year)

Yeah, they really are complete loonies now.

They are ignoring the issue that the consensus and science is probably a big lie, and pushing on for change as the responsible thing. It sounds like they are complicit in the lie.

As for change being the responsible thing, I kind of agree, but it needs to be the right change. Ie, biofuel take-up has seen food prices rise a great deal causing plenty of people to not be able to afford food in developing nations.
If the world will be changing it's climate, maybe spending money on preventing the effects will be more effective than simply spending many factors more trying to actually change an irresistable natural force to no effect.

Ah well, general election before the summer is out. Bye bye Nu Labour, at long f***ing last!
