Can you purchase a set from BMW? Can anyone advise where to get a set other than going to BMW?

Yeah, I got mine done at the dealer, £11 each, I think that is pretty cheap considering. Why are the rear clusters so much?

I was thinking of adding a red film tint to the outer rear cluster to cover the yellow indicator, likely to be < £20 and approx 30 mins providing it is easy to remove cluster but I think will do the job beautifully. I see many have dark tinted, a bit too extreme for. Has anyone tried this and if so pics please?

Cluster itself is easy to remove - just a few nuts from the inside of the boot :D

You would have to change the colour of bulb in the indicator if covering with red. Some research on an earlier thread showed that a green bulb would flash orange through a red cover...
 
Hi Gannet,

I was thinking about this, surely a green bulb and red tint must make brown? Will yellow lens and red tint not make orange? It woudn't be a heavy red, but from the exterior take the yellow edge off the light. Has anyone got pics? I don't want it to fail mot on it...

As said above available from the Stealers but you can use origonal roundels they are more expensive than the lenses

maybe I remembered the colours wrongly :?
