Hi there - I have just bought a 2004 - 2.2 Titanium Silver Z4 and am really pleased with my purchase. Beautiful car. However, I don't particularly like the yellow side body mounted indicators. Does anybody know if these can be changed for the 'clear', later model indicators, if this is an easy job and if so, where is the best place to buy these. Thanks....

Welcome to the forum.

they are about £11 each. and they are a straight swap just change the badges over, a very common mod.

email joe at [email protected] and let him know you are on the forum, he is usuallythe cheapest and very reliable.

any pics of the car?

They can be easily changed, they twist off and unclip. You can buy clear ones from ebay or from a dealer (little more expensive) Expect to pay £20-30 for a set.

EDIT: You're too quick for me Rudd!! 8)

Did mine last week, only problem I had was my own impatience in trying to stick on my carbon fibre badges, but tidied it and they look geat

Here is the thread with Pics

All,

Thanks so much for your replies, advice and for making me feel so welcome to the Forum.

I can see how powerful a tool this is and it is good to know that if I ever get a problem or query about the car there will have been somebody else that has gone through the same.

I will follow up your advice about the indicators.

Have tried to put a couple of photos of my Z4 on the site but the 'snaps' I have are using too many 'pixels' and 'bytes' for the site. I will change the settings on my camera and get some posted as soon as.

Thanks for all your help.

Nigel :driving:
