Clear rear lights on silver car

Well I fitted my clear rear lights just to see what they would look like before tinting red and I have to say I quite like them as they are and so does everyone I've asked opinions on them.
My car is silver and I think they suit better than a darker car.

Now for the slating :P

It's quite unusual - have you replaced your side indicators/headlights as well? Not sure if I would choose it for my titan silver, but I'm trying to go for darker colours on the exterior - probably a black/silver/red combination as I've seen on here before.

Looks a bit rubbish. I never fitted mine before i sprayed them as i knew i wouldn't like it.

Remember a good few coats of lacquer if you spray them

Well each to their own but to me they look horrible. Makes the rear end all washed out and bland

+1 spray them and they will look much better 8)

I agree with most of the above. Does nothing for the shape of the rear. However, each to their own and it's nice to see some individuality.

Sorry man - it has kind of a dead fish eyes look to it, like the new Mustangs' headlights. Dead fish eyes or goat eyes, can't decide which, but neither work on a car.

My opinion, of course, and worthy every penny you paid for it.

i think i like it makes the car look more modern
i broke my 3rd tail light :( but there are some cheep kits on ebay... so i was thinking about doing the same thing

It actually looks better in the flesh than in the pic, honest :)
It does make the rear look more modern and cleaner looking.

This is the kit I got.

looks a bit odd to me, especially with the red inners. i would spray them as others have suggeted, keep it looking a bit more OEM.

Sound like you're beginning to convince yourself despite the initial request for a slating and a lot of 'no' replies :poke:
