clear rear lights - is it a mod?

I just noticed that our rear lights are mainly clear
It is an SE 06 2.0

I am curious, I suspect our car been modified by a previous owner.
What do you think?

All down to personal taste - if you don't like you can always swap the various styles around

there will be ppl on here that will swop all ur clear light for their original kit if ur worried about insurance or wanting to keep urs standard looking.
 
Definitely a mod. If you like 'em, keep 'em.

I would go for the all red look with amber indicators. But then I like the pre facelift with amber indicators... many others don't :lol:

I'm with you Adamski on that, mine's Sapphire Black and I quite like the contrast between the black and the red/amber...
 
So ... you are driving an uninsured car then as the mod has not been declared to the insurance :D

(only joking as there are other threads around about what to declare tot the insurance companies ...)

+1 on the OEM on the black paintwork.
While the clear spot look amazing on some colours, the very dark finishes don't need the lights to 'shout'. These in particular with all clear have never been a favourite, but Finistere if you like 'em - great - you can always pick up a set of OEM's off ebay for peanuts to try :thumbsup:

I don't really mind the look either way.
