Tempted, but when you can get the whole clear light setup from Joe @ Sopers for not much more, these make less sense. I suppose it depends if you need the clear sides and brake light like I'd want too.

Good spot though, thanks for posting

The same seller lists the full kit for £109.99 (freepost) on a regular basis and OK to deal with aswell.

Not sure if I like these or not, does anyone have a proper picture from the rear? I think it includes the rear brake light too.

I bought the kit with the intention of painting the tail lights as shown in this thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19200&hilit=clear+lights but after fitting them for a look prior to painting them can't quite make my mind up although I have ordered the red tint.

IMO I think with prefacelift, the original colour setup is best. As a serious sea change in car design for BMW, the designer would have chose those colours (yes, even the orange) for front and rear purposefully.

That said, I have changed my wheels and did briefly go through a similar lights dilemma back in the summer where I tried tinting the rear orange indicators to red, but it didn't feel right to me. Was like I was messing with the purity of the car or something.

All about personal preference I guess. Maybe use tinting film instead of spray to try out first.

inkey$, I'm sort of the same. I keep on considering changing to have 4 clear spots and having clear side repeaters (not keen on the clear brake light on a silver Z4 though) but in the end I always decide the ambers don't overly offend me, so I've saved my £££ so far. But then I see other forum member's Z4s and change my mind all over again

Gorgeous, and he used tint film on his rear lights too. (was also the inspiration of my Zed wheel change).

Watch out - at this rate we'll have to form an "Exclusive Purist's Z4 thread" a la Taz X :P

I do like the idea of tinting the amber bits red like in those photos but always worried about getting them to shine through as orange - a green bulb I believe does it through red tint.

Well each to their own, but BMW obviously didn't like it as the orange is the main feature to change on the facelift..

a11y - It's worth a try. When i did it a few months back I just left the bulbs as they were. The orange of the actual lens was still strong enough to show through when illuminated not not bother with green bulbs etc. Not sure if you'd be okay with a pedantic colour blind MOT tester but thems the risks :D

They've been relisted now £59.99
