Did I, or did I not, once read a thread whereby someone had their standard headlights changed to have clear flashes fitted to their existing headlights?? Or, have I dreamt it....?

As in de-tango'ing the front lights? You have to cut open the units (you can't 'bake' them apart) and remove the orange reflectors which are just clipped in. Then you get some of those silver mirrored indictor bulbs and seal everything back up.

Probably easier to find the all-clear headlight variant, regardless of how rare they are to find on the second hand market.

You'll need to replace the orange reflectors with silver ones from a donor set.
