CLEAR HEADLIGHT XENON SWAP

HI folks

at the moment i have the xenon orange indicator front headlights and would like to swap to the clear ones without the orange strip the which would be xenon, please coulds anyone tell me if its just a straight swap?

i have existing orange front xenon headlights and want to swap the same lights to clear xenon?

mine self level to would this cause a problem?

If it's a straight swap - Xenon/orange for Xenon/clear, I wouldn't think it would be a problem as all the necessary componets to support the unit are in situ.
 
If you run a search you'll find many threads on just such conversions.

The only lights that are a straight swap are as no fit state refers to. Clear prefacelift were only available on 2005 cars.

Although you do not state if you have the lights, source etc. you may wish to consider that only UK lights can be used due to beam pattern and assymetrical design. EU and US units cannot be made to work correctly (well without some internal rebuilding using your existing units).

Dealers are about £750 each new :thumbsdown:

My friend who is selling the headlights, say they have been REMOVED FROM 06 Z4 would these still fit?

no wont be a straight swap. needs to be pre 06. i.e. pre-facelift.
