Cleaning the fascia top

Hi,

Help!

I was cleaning the windows of the car with glass cleaner. The kind of glass cleaner that is a creamy white liquid, that dries to a haze and you wipe off. I love it because its easy to do, and you don't get smears.

But I dripped some onto the top of the dashboard, and I can't get it off - its a mess, and is reflecting on the windscreen. Part of the problem is the very heavy texture of the area. Can anyone recommend something? I was wondering about just white spirit but am scared of damaging it.

I’d stay away from any solvents. Instead instead mild apc and vinyl/rubber care type of products, plus a detailing brush to get into the texture.

Steam cleaner and a cloth?

Water and an old tooth brush.

Warm soapy water and agree on the toothbrush.

Yep, brush and something mild to remove.

I wouldn’t put white spirit or anything strong in plastics. Some may deal with it ok but some might be irreparably stained/damaged. I found that out the hard way many years ago.
