My friend very kindly spilled soy sauce in the boot
I tried cleaning the carpet with a cleaner machine and took the battery out amd cleaned the plastic tray but it still smells.... Any ideas? Could it have gone under the plastic box?

Try some chopped vegetables and noodles this should soak up the sauce :D
On a serious note it may have leaked behind the box and it may be you have to remove any trim pieces to give it a thorough clean.

I was hoping that box was sealed down as it doesn't look all that easy to take out.

Id try some APC on it too, mixed fairy strong

Certain things can be a pain to remove the smell, it has probably gone places you cant see so removing stuff to clean it properly is probably best.

Good Luck
