Cleaning products what do you use.??

I like auto glym after using it for so many years. But know that the more experienced will use Gtechniq, poorboys, auto finesse and meguires products.
I like the meguires lamb wool mit.
Also I always get proper quality chamois leathers. Makes the job so much easier

What do I do. Should I edit it??? Lol

Shoot me but I've used them since I was boy doing Bob a job car washing. I always get top quality real leather ones and are always kept mint clean. One for the body work. One for the alloys. im sure I will get informed properly.

Pretty biased because he had done several paint corrections for me over the years - but after buying a lot of the big brands I've pretty much settled on using AMDetails own brand stuff - everything I've bought has done the job required of it.

APC is an excellent product particularly for getting rid of bugs this time of year.

I still use Zymol shampoo though - like the smell

curent favourites are -
Gtechniq APC
Valet PRO Bilberry wheel cleaner
Ultimate Finish wheel woolies
Valet Pro Advanced Neutral snow foam
Gtechniq UV wash (2 bucket method of course)
Nilfisk power washer
Assorted washmits, towels and microfibres from Microfibre Madness
Gtechniq T2 tyre dressing
Invisible Glass glass cleaner
Collinite Marque D'Elegance Wax

also going to try the GYEON Q²M WetCoat soon too and want to give the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light + EXO a tryout too

Two favourites of mine are 50Cal glaze https://www.amazon.co.uk/50-Cal-Cover-Up-Filler-Glaze/dp/B00W5Q8HJS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464330723&sr=8-1&keywords=50+cal+glaze
topped with Collinite 845 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Collinite-845-Insulator-Wax-473/dp/B000JK2D06/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464330598&sr=8-1&keywords=collinite+845
Both very easy to apply without machine & give great results no matter what colour paint
For wheelwax i use Poorboys sealant

Powermaxed TFR mixed at 20:1 for the prewash (not found a better prewash for the ££'s that cleans as well as this, LSP/wax safe also)

AF Citrus Power - removes dead bugs with ease.

AS Smart Wheels + Wheel Woolies/EZ wheel brush for the wheels. Carchem Revolt occasionally.

Carchem 1900:1 shampoo - a little goes a long long way. I still have 300ml in a 1ltr bottle after 18mths.

Microfibre Madness Incredimitt used for the 2 bucket wash method.

Uber XL drying towel to dry the car off (dog drier for the wheels, mirrors and door shuts)

Polishing when it needs it is any of these - AF Ultra Glaze, AF Tripple, Megs105 + 205 by DA or AS Topaz.

AF Desire followed by AF Illusion for the finish.

ODK Entourage, Bouncers D+D or Zymol Z8 for top ups to the wax.

AF Crystal for the glass.

Cheers buddy.

I have a few products that I use not listed such as Tardis and Carchem Tire Dressing which is a nice product, no sling and leaves a nice matt finish on the tyres for a few weeks.

The AF Illusion though is my utter favourite, wet looks and flake pop galore!!

I use ; Dodo juice born to be mild shampoo
Meguiars drying cloth
GTECH Clay mitt ( with Autoglym quick detailer)
Dodo juice Lime Prime ( pre-clean/polish)
Autosmart Topaz Hybrid wax
and Bouncers done and dusted top-up as needed.

Wheels I use Iron-X ( Was expecting better of this but not really any better than a £5 Wonderwheels)

I quite like Car Plan tyre silk as well and find it just as good if not better than the pricer stuff.
