Sometimes I'll just quickly wash them with hot water and fairy liquid. Then, at the end of the day, put them into the machine with the rest of the clothes and wash. You can never have a pad that is too clean....

Neat washing up liquid dissolves the wax almost instantly. Then the pads get chucked in the machine. I don't use washing up liquid on the car :wink:

D domsz4 Veteran Jun 26, 2013 #10 washing up liquid will dissolve the wax etc as that's what is designed to do to your dishes... i tend to wait till i have a decent amount, give them all a soak in a bucket/bath for a few hrs and then run them through the machine on a normal cycle
