Just wondered what you detailing guys use to clean and polish around badges and emblems?

I just couldn't get near the inner bit of the 4 in z4 so thinking about debadging to declutter. The only thing I could think of was an ear bud but then thought would be easy to push too hard an scratch, any tips?

I go around all the intricate bits like that with a soft brush when washing the Zed

Soft haired paint brush.
I have had a nightmare with the Boxster badge on the boot lid as is sits almost horizontal and collects crap and polish so I researched this problem quite recently.
Takes a while to get the baked on grime off with warm water and shampoo to prevent scratching.

I seriously considering de-badging - huge decision so a can't rush into it
Do it. You know it makes sense.

One of my elderly neighbours asked me if it was a Ferrari the other day as I've de-badged the 'Z4' and have replaced the rear roundel with one of those black shadowy badges.
I had to chuckle.
But then I realised she was about 90, on a mobility scooter and was dribbling a little. bless.
