Wish I was there to see it clean with the new wheels but I need the break from driving the Zed, I'm still knacked after the busy 4 days (seen the posting?)
Where you and Mike going? Have him take you on the Hawick Loop? You'll love it and the weather's going to be good tomorrow.
Hey Taz, just looked it up - 'clean as a whistle' comes from an older phrase clear as a whistle that got corrupted to clean meaning cuts through any other noise and this can also be related to something being cut 'cleanly'. Then there's another old phrase - 'clean as a hounds tooth' which is said to be related to how sharp a hounds teeth are - nothing to do with cleanness. . . . .but the clean in this case means sharp and this relates to the clean as a whistle being related to cutting through other noises.
Haha have I just totally made this up or getting my wires crossed?
Tomorrow Paul think we are heading down brough and Kirkby Stephen and doing the butter... Something pass haha Can't remember what's it's called.
