I agree we need to work towards a cleaner planet

But all this could be irrelevant if it goes South on the Eastern front

Have a look at the emissions on these B52's never mind the destruction the weapons could do

The QRA aircraft have been scrambled most days recently and have to refuel so around 22,000 plus ltrs of fuel each

Makes the pollution the S54 produces almost insignificant
 
Great to see these, but they are as old as Biden, designed by Boeing in 1948 and released for military service in 55. In all seriousness I don't see the point in wheeling these out if Biden thinks it will give Putin the jitters or perhaps its just a token gesture or sit them on UK soil making us a juicy target.

What about the increase in plastic from billions of Lateral Flow Test kits? No-one seems to care about that either. :o
 
I think the third & fourth planes' engines could probably do with new head gaskets and rebored cylinders as well maybe :(

Such a well orchestrated bit of fear porn this whole Ukraine situation, COVID is off the menu now its not scary anymore for the majority so we need a new bogeyman and in this age of reboots and remakes why not use the Russians!
