Classic Car Meet at Blackbushe Airport, Hampshire - Sunday 27 November 2022

so I'm planning to drop by next week subject to the weather, but at least it's all on hardstanding.

It's in front of the Pathfinder Cafe that apparently opens at 8.00 am https://www.blackbusheairport.co.uk/cafe but I'll probably arrive a bit later!

Still it might be a handy place to go this time of year.

Be rude not to as it’s up the road and as discussed at The Black Swan I’m also interested to see a few planes take off too. Even if it’s from inside due to some of the wet stuff falling outa the sky.

Btw I’m still perplexed by my number plates being screwed on

I keep looking at the weather forecast and it isn't looking great. I'll probably decide in the morning, although at least the cafe is a decent size.

Well I was awake fairly early and it wasn't actually raining so I went along and caught up with a couple of forum members, even if one did arrive in a 4 Series. :roll:

Given the dampness the "Classic" turn out wasn't huge, about a dozen or so, but mostly 60s/70s cars. Still there was loads of space and all on hard-standing so I'm sure I'll go there again.

Still this time of year it's definitely a better venue than the field at the Black Swan!

Looked fun! Whats the event tomorrow and is anyone going? I'll be up for shooting down from Twickenham / Kingston at lunchtime 1.30pm - 3pm after my morning Church service. Ive had a look at the airport website but haven't found any details? Time on best time to go, cost, parking etc? Many thanks and yes I'll be taking my Zed for an airing of it's lungs!!

Sadly all these Sunday morning events seem to start at some ungodly hour! I was at Gaydon just after 9 am today. :roll:

It isn't an event organised by the airport or the cafe, it just seems to happen! But it's free and parking isn't a problem. There will be a car meet at the Black Swan in Ockham next Sunday - I'll post a link for you.
