Did you put your's on display? If so its not it in the background of the e28 is it?

It's got moisture in from washing too much - and we kept taking the piss.

Yes, that's mine - but blurred as I washed it before I left and it was still like an insect graveyard by the time I arrived at Tatton Park (30 minutes away).

I gave mine a rinse & dry when I arrived, but some of those guys started at 8am and were still cleaning at 4pm and then got in the car and drove it back home, only to repeat the process the following day :o

BTW, that CSL does 10,000 miles a year and has chased more modern BMWs up to near double the NSL (on private/German roads officer) :P
