I was expecting to see a rash of comments about Clarkson on here ........ I mean and affair .....?????

I mean seriously :D ....... who would....... and how ........ and why .......... its just not possible.

Ha it'll be the daily mail crew.
They've just run out of "oh my god don't go outside or you'll die, but hang on you could die inside too" stories so they just made another up lol

Newspaper reporters have hardly turned out to be the best model citizens, now have they?

Personally I think the tabloid press should be looked at with a very large, painful magnifying glass, most are not worth wrapping chips in.

What after those two chaps from whatever tabloid they worked for that have just been banged to rights for (supposedly) intercepting or planning to intercept voicemails etc without the users consent. Nah that's perfectly legit.....not!

LOL, my guess is he did have an affair... FFS, we all know she was attracted to the huge bulge in his trousers (wallet!)... It's no big surprise really, is it now?

What is more of a shock to me is he wastes his time with "a holiday home in the Isle of Man"... FFS, holidaying in a miserable rainy part of the world when you can jet off to somewhere sunny... now there is a mystery!?

I think it might be the speed limits that attracted him. Or perhaps the motorcyclists? I know how he loves them! :)

LOL, and I guess you dont get too many caravans there either :D

...and the fact his wife is from there, and there are tax benefits?

In the trade, every celebrity has a value. Play ball - do interviews, photo shoots, cosy up with the right editors - and you will be painted in a positive light. Often you are worth more as a hero than a villain.....but....

....anything bad you have done is kept in a drawer. Refuse a few interviews, piss off a journalist, turn public opinion against you and out comes the stories that ruin your reputation. Clarkson has obviously triggered the Mail into going for him more than usual. So many squeaky clean figures have dark shadows hiding away

There could be some truth to it,but who knows??

And ,yeah, his fame/wealth must have alot to do with it,lol :D

LOL, you have a good point, but I still think there may be something to it... the press can be a b***ard, but at the same time he is a very very rich... very very ugly bloke, and we all know how that usually ends up ;)

Yup, even if true they just don't bring the stories out unless they can sell more papers painting you as a bad guy. A friend of mine works in this field and hates it....apparently there is another very big name - married - who (allegedly) has multiple kiss and tell stories queued up for when the time comes; the difference is they are all from men.

Reading these stories you sometimes wonder who actually really cares though...

I couldn't care less about "celebrity" people, we're all human at the end of the day, all fallible. Death and taxes and all that jazz.

There's also two sides to any story, as any (fellow) divorcees will attest to. Newspapers only ever present the one that sells more of their paper, as that is the point of them, to make money, and to hell with any consequence.

I particularly enjoy hearing about journalists who get caught crossing the line, breaking the law. They should be prosecuted to the full exent of the law, IMHO

lol, I agree with you all.... still think he did it, and still think that's between him, his wife, and the little hottie that gave him the ride of his life ;) Who really cares.... it's like stories of footballers shagging around, par for the course really :D

Well stated...

Having been involved once with a front page story, you really cannot believe what you read at all.

The actual facts may be right but their extrapolated conclusions are incredible. Its all about selling the paper....

i don't care if he's had 10 affairs, its none of my business, tabloids are full of cr*p and i would never buy 1

and tabloid journalist are the lowest form of people, they try and tell us its in the public interest, garbage

I agree with the ...... its none of my business or concern angle ........

its just I cant get this horrible picture of Clarkson naked out of my head ........ Im losing my will to live :D
