However, the Z4M's time is still very quick when you look at the cars that finished behind it. In the right hands it is a very fast track car and a great luxury convertible cruiser as well! Two cars for the price of one
Clarkson is a very inconsistent fellow, as any Z4M Owner & Top Gear viewer will know already.
He was entertaining, with each series I think he becomes less so. I'd still shake his hand, but I reckon I could argue against most of his points quite comprehensively.
But yes.. whenever they go to the lap times.. im always smug that my car did pretty damn well.
Oh and Sammy.. isn't it great it was a Imola Roadster they drove ?
Andy,
a few people have mentioned that they've seen the Top Gear episode on Dave and the car was Imola red. I also love Plato's review of the Z4M on 5th Gear a blue car that time.
Also, if you can get hold of the Evo mag that had the review in it there is a double page BMW advert that features an Imola red and of course the review against the Boxster, TVR and Alpina is very good. Nice to keep as part of the car's documents etc.
The Top Gear ep is worth watching if you haven't already.. I posted the link on here a while ago, looks ace as it comes round the second to last corner - auto lights and wipers both come on and it sails round beautifully 8)
Good to see the lot of you don't like Clarkson as I got taken to the wood shed on the old Z4um for expressing my dislike for him. However, I love the show and watch it every week on BBC America...
I dislike clarkson - my other half thinks hes great. My other half was laughing his socks off about the wife swapping comment - until Clarkson commented that no one would want to swap with a driver of a 350z. That wiped the smile off his face. Told him i am leaving at home for the next party
