Did anyone else listen to Jeremy clarkson on the Chris Evans show this morning? People were invited to nominate the worst car in their opinion. Someone suggested the Z4 as he'd had something like 5 roofs in 7 years. Clarkson totally disagreed and said they were fabulous cars and the only car completely designed inside and out by a woman. Nice to see he is a big fan but not sure about his facts about its design pedigree. Surely there would be a built-in ironing board if that were true :D
 
The guy making the comment on the 5 roofs in 7 years was talking about the e85, Jeremy was talking about the e89.

and as for the ironing board :poke:
 
jeremy did say that the e89 was all the car you ever needed at its launch i seem to recall, and if they dont need new roof motors all the time, he may be right

but taking any notice a man whos career goal is to sell more books by being offensive in a "blokey way" seems somehow not credible, which is a career turnaroud based on his history which used to be to provide credible journalism for the motor industry.

where are the Setrights of today's motoring press? who remembers him? he was credible, and outspoken

Is Chris Harris not the new Setright? Most people seem to hang on his every word nowadays.

As for the guy who had 5 roofs in 7 years. He needs to take a good look at where he's parking that thing and how he's looking after it. Probably parking in a swamp under a tree.

Interesting show with Clarkson and May on it just wish i was able to listen to it all.

Good Design is good design even if it came from Darwin..

Download the Pod Cast. I didn't hear it at all so that's what I will be doing.
 
Used to like Chris Evans on Drivetime but he's just way too much in the mornings.
Prefer R4. Much funnier than Chris Evans. Almost crashed laughing when James Nauhgtie mispronounced Jeremy Hunt. Priceless!
Do like JC though. He speaks a lot of common sense.

YES LJK SETRIGHT PROBABLY THE BEST THERE EVER WAS IMO.
