having just got round to watching series 3 and the scotland one i was pondering on the choice of cars, rare classics and a lot of money and all had big money spent on them afterwards except the x19 which blew up and died.
i was thinking how long has it got to be before a zed becomes rarefied. does anybody know how many there are out there ? As the primary definition of classic has got to be rare or old or both and while the original zed is getting on a bit it isn't rare as so many were made/sold..
and for the benefit of keeping it simple i will say the uk.

Which episode of S3 was it? I wouldn't mind watching it (I used to have a USA import X/19 many years ago), but I don't want to suffer through any more of those utter prats than I have to.

I read it that there were 20 registered in 2006, and there were 241 registered in 2018

Look on the bright side I guess, plenty of spares potential :D

Though they're mostly grey, silver, white, black, another shade of silver, yet another shade of grey.......... :zzzz:

Well yes, 20 registered that year & 239 the next year. I guess that model was released towards the end of 2006.
