Cig lighter socket loose?

Hi all, whenever i plug anything into the cig lighter i have to jiggle the plug around to make it work, does this mean the wiring behind the plug is loose or the cig socket is 'warped'?-thanks

There are a couple of sizes, (I discovered this when some plugs rattled and others were fine)

If the lighter works, see if you have another gadget to try

Really mate,a couple of sizes?-will do

Yep, it's a minor difference, but I've bought lighter socket gadgets on my various travels so suffered this annoyance a number of times. Worst case I used a wedge of paper to hold them in place. Check that actual lighter is working first as that'll give you an idea of whether or not you have a wiring problem

Have the same problem with mine had the dealer have a look at it when i first got it but they found no problem,i use a Belkin USB car charger so it maybe on the small size but works well once in the right position
