I'm certainly still in for a set shipped to the UK and could act as a focal point to sub distribute here to reduce total shipping if folks want

Yuo can just send them marked as a gift. Gets over the issue.

Spot on, or it's import duty and taxes on not only the item value but all shipping charges and US taxes. Gets very expensive and often more than the item being shipped and then if there is a charge some UK couriers add a arbitrary handling chanrge on top.

Can this just be hand written or is there a Postal Service requirement?
I think you just chuck it in a box and fil the customs form in as 'gift' and/or assign a nominal value of say $5 to it'

There is no tax if is only being returned eg
If I sent you the clips from the uk so you could work on them, and then you sent them back to me marked returning to owner fixed (or words to that effect).
They don’t have to know that none sent them to you in the first place

Frustrating but typical plater. Sorry to give a false alarm. 
I collected them today and they look great. I'm offering these to Z4 forum members first and at lower price until June 1st after that they will be available to all until sold out and at a higher price.

PM's have been sent to those that had interest in the US. I have a limited number of sets available, PM me if there is interest.

I will be going to my local Post Office to get official ruling on what documentation, tags or labels needed to ship in addition to postal rates. PM me if interested.
Due to small interest I had only 2 sets made for the M's: #161 & 317. One set is already sold. The other set is offered to either pvr or ian in lancs, they have first refusal rights.
