Have just seen this on the Facebook BMW Z4 owners club. I made a comment on the wheels and how in my opinion they spoil
the look of an otherwise lovely looking Zed. He basically accused me of Trolling him. Is it just me or do they look pants?

Not a fan either. Tbh they're fugly wheels no matter what colour they were.

They're chavtastic, but then what else would you expect from a next level basketballer?
Maybe the roll hoops are to remind him of the court! Or because he's so tall. I'm guessing his passengers must be tall as well to see over whatever that is blocking their view.

Good job you didn't ask him if the roll hoops were made from old wheelbarrows  wtf are they :P
Those are the actual steel roll hoops that are usually concealed with the grey plastic trims....concealed for a reason
Very shiny chrome wheels seems to be an American thing. There's a forum member in the US (I think) has a black E86 with some very shiny wheels. Not my cup of tea but 'whatever floats your boat' eh ?

He got the right ump with me and called me an ass hole. Ho Hum If people are sensitive about comments they shouldn't sign up to these forums. IMO

Well I think we all know who the ass hole is, and it isn't you!

I think they look terrible (but don't tell him I said so).

It's a bit of a shame that BMW couldn't have made the tubular steel roll hoops a bit more visually attractive so that they didn't look like the front part of a wheelbarrow chassis as Mr Wilks pointed out when the plastic coverings are removed.
I don't like the wheels either.

The wheels are indeed pants.

Send him a link. He will on here trolling us all and we can have some fun.

People are sensitive about their p and j so if i dont like something i tend to say nowt or as many on here say "its not for me but as long as you're happy"
Wouldn't say you trolled him but you obviously dented his pride :D Most Americans will love it tho.. no offence intended to our American friends on here :D

personally i've nothing against chrome wheels, seem to work especially well on american cars where they have actual sunshine to make them sparkle.

in fact i prefer chrome wheels to bronze wheels or gunmetal wheels, but hey, each to their own, if someone makes a change to their pride and joy and they are happy then i'm happy.

I would opt for a more subtle look by getting them Chrome Powder Coated from a company i've used many times, http://www.pureklas.co.uk/past-work/chrome-powder-coating-wheels :)
