At last got round to tail pipe. Need a bit more work but looks ok and saved me a few quid.

Just got this off amazon on the off chance that it might fit, seeing that it was so cheap I thought it was worth a gamble. I will fit it to the car tomorrow but tried it on just to see if it fits and it does if you remove the inner pieces and looks pretty cool. I will post pics tomorrow.

Fitted, no dramas

I didnt need to use the 2 u shaped clamps provided

I needed to cut one of the bolts to prevent it protruding too much

Hey Silverfox, like your tailpipe mod.

How has it fared rust wise since you bought it and is it chromed or polished steel? I'm thinking of getting one but the BMW one is a bit steep, however if yours doesn't rust then id be keen to get one like yours.

Hi Geezah, Its chromed and it will rust if you don't keep it clean as I found out when I neglected it for a couple of weeks over the winter.Must of the rust polished off so it doesn't loo too bad, if it gets any worse I'll buy another seeing as they are so cheap.

For all you 4 pots out there. I just got this SS tail pipe off Amazon to replace my chrome one which I don't think will last another winter before the dreaded rust takes hold. The new one is quite a bit bigger but should look better, I hope, as it fills the gap in the bumper more than before. I need to cut the hexi bolts down to size this weekend before I fit it permanently. I just stuck it on in the garage to get a rough idea so I was unable to get a decent photo from a distance to give a better idea of the overall look. I will post some pics of the finished look this weekend.
