Christmas Tree Lights

Hello,

After filling up gas earlier today, I got into my Z and noticed that I had yellow lights on the dash. I have one picture, but shortly after the ABS light and DTC light came on and were yellow:

I had my Carly plugged in and pulled the codes (pre DTC and ABS because it was in the middle of clearing the codes), this is what I got the image above:

After clearing the codes I then drove the car home and none of the lights showed up.

Mate it’s all happening for you isn’t it

If these have cleared and not retired then it may be an intermittent issue with your steering angle sensor

Your yellow oil light is low oil level

I've had this. The stored value for steering wheel centrepoint is off by a few degrees but just within the threshold it will happily operate in. Every now and then the system will think that it's just outside the threshold and throw the lights (gets worse as tyres wear etc or if the tracking slips a bit.)

INPA can display the steering angle value and it'll probably say it's at a few degrees when centred. I can't remember how to reset the offset - I think it needs Tool32.

I had the same three lights appear on my car when the battery was almost dead and I started it with a jumper pack so it might be worth checking the health of your battery.

Ross at RBM reset the steering angle sensor and cleared the codes, but I don't know what software he used.
