Christmas present to me!

In the spirit of Christmas I bought myself a present last week so with a tear in my eye I drove the Z4 to BMW... But left with a big grin & a new 428i Coupe M-Sport Auto :D

For those who are interested I'll post a bit of a review in a while, but for now here are a few pics (excuse the dodgy editing!) and I'm absolutely loving it!

I'll definitely be sticking around on this forum as, although I've not posted a huge amount on here it's the best forum around and I've been an avid reader over nearly 5 years of Z4 ownership :thumbsup:

Having read numerous reviews both on the forum and online in general, the negative reviews on the 2.0 turbo generally seem to come from those used to the 6 pot... but coming from a 2.5 e89 I have to say I've thoroughly impressed with the engine! It doesn't sound as good on initial start up admittedly, but when you're pressing on it has a really sporty rasp to it that, although different, is neither better nor worse than the straight 6 IMO... It's much quicker than the 23i as well, no lag at all and the auto box is a really nice piece of kit, smooth, quick and reacts instantly.

I took a mate for a drive a few days ago who has a 2010 330i Coupe and he was seriously impressed - really liked the engine and I was expecting him to be harder to impress :driving:
