Christmas Morning Hoon

For as long as I can remember I have always had a Christmas meaning Hoon......preferably with the roof down and streaming down the motorway.....

Going to clean the car this morning and off I go....not much else to do when you're on your own, but it's a great feeling.

Showing my age, but I remember the days when you didn't see any cars out on Christmas Day....it's like a normal day almost on the roads

Enjoy your hoon Stark! I'll be having a little blast a bit later on some nice, winding rural roads!

I've also had many a Christmas Day on my own in the past. Make sure you nurture yourself - lots of nice food & drink, good TV/Movies, some music and maybe a bit of online sale shopping looking for a bargain or two. I hope you have a great day

Still works on Cup Final day though.

Enjoy. :driving:

:driving: remember those pictures!

Makes me wish my M wasnt SORN'd at the moment. Had to pop to the garage earlier and there she was, covered in duvets and begging to be hooned

Have a great, chilled day Stark

Enjoy your drive Stark!
This is the first Christmas in my life I've woken up in an empty house. Suppose it's also the first year I have a house :D and first time in years I've not been working Christmas Day so I guess it's all good.
Might take a little extended drive myself on the way to see my mum later :driving:

Might pop out for a wee one myself in a bit  Won't be washing the car first though - waste of driving time, it'll only get filthy again !

I shall prepare myself with some GT6 :driving:

I'll probably be out a little later too. I had a great Christmas Eve blast across the Yorkshire Dales yesterday.

Had a very very good blast down the M40....roof down.....not too fast, as people who know me on here, know I wouldn't do such a thing

I'll be hooning all the way from reading to Preston later, a usual Christmas day trip from south to north for the past 7-8 years! Roof was down yesterday but I'm not sure about later :-s Merry Christmas.

Missed my window of opportunity, it is now pissing down :x

Might still go out, roof up though :( :driving: :D

I did go out, but lots of closed / flooded roads - stuck the roof back up because of the number of 4x4s trying to surf... Came home, got pissed

MERRY CHRISTMAS 'Stark' - Can't be fun spending Christmas on your own so a good idea to get out - hope you enjoyed your run.

Maybe arrange a Z4 run next year for others who fancy getting out?

You're right about the traffic - was busy last night as well - very different to the way it used to be.

:driving:

Thanks for all your kind words guys,....it was an ok day.....just watched TV, went out in the car and shopped online...a lot more people out there worse off than me, so life's not too bad.

Hope everyone had a great day with their families

We've had a lovely zeddy day too - 185 miles round trip down to Haworth - what a great driving road the A65 is with hardly any traffic in it :D I have one filthy zed now, but will enjoy cleaning him tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone x

I didn't get out yesterday but managed to go for an hour out on Exmoor today, but I think my roof motor has died a death today which is very frustrating. Grr
It seemed a bit slow and sluggish coming down when I started then when I got home it moved a little bit then nothing, I closed it manually. With the engine off I tried again with the key and it will do a little bit at a time but can't here any labouring or motor noise at all, is it the fateful drowned motor? Ian who I bought it off had taken good care and had cleared the drains regularly and I've done it since I had it and they were nice and clean... Help!!
