Hi,

Has anyone been listening to the Chris Evans' Children in Need auctions?

Today's auction is mad! Drive a McLaren up to McLaren's headquarters for an all access tour of race control and use the simulator etc. Then helicopter transfer to the airport, then private jet to Monaco. Arrive at the Sunseeker in the marina for your use all weekend. Dinner with the drivers, best tickets available in the grandstand, pit access, starting grid access with Bernie, cocktail party with Prine Albert and many others, after party, the list goes on!! It's incredible.

Bids are pretty high though, a little out of my budget! I think the current lowest bid is £101,000. :lol:

Yep, McLaren, Eddie Jordan, Bernie Ecclestone and a few others have all donated.

Four couples will go to next year’s famous Monaco Grand Prix as very special guests.

Yeah, he came across really well on the radio. Not his usual self you see on the TV!
 
unfortunately the sort of ppl who can afford to bid upwards of 1/4 of a million can prob afford to do all this anyway, but none the less a great prize and a great cause, possibly the greatest prize ive ever seen
