Chips on car

Not had the car long and it’s been awhile since I had a sports car as low as the Z4 but I’ve already had a couple of small but irritating chips to the panel below the passenger door. I’ve rubbed them out as best as I can...not visible unless I go looking.

It might seem a silly question but (apart from drive carefully obviously) is there any type of polish or protection that can reduce the damage, the niggles of nicks and scratches that I can use.

My car is arctic white.

Any help much appreciated folks.

A touch up pen or paint match and dot them in (cocktail stick works well here) and then go over with lacquer.
Failing that, then some PPF would be worth considering but it isn’t cheap.

Thanks for the replies so far. I’ll look into these ideas in detail. I haven’t heard of PPF but now seen it on Amazon. I’m going to mention it when I get a touch up pen and see if the garage would put it on properly for me. Never thought of the cocktail stick...great idea. Dr.colour chip also looks a good bet too. Many thanks
