Chips Away SE London - with rolling pics

Yeah, prob more my mistake there but his work looks pretty good and zero overspray...to date.

looks good so far, they don't use a full size gun with compressor for spraying, they use the small guns so far less chance of overspray. Edited

7 hours later and she's finished. Have to say I'm amazed at the results. Really can't tell what's been repaired and the colour match is perfect. Really pleased and relieved! Cost £432 inc for large boot scratch and 4 deep smaller nicks on 4 different panels. Can recommend Martin from Chips Away. 20 years in the business and even caught him admiring his work.

That's marvellous, you must be really pleased with the results, certainly thinking about getting a quote from them to sort my stone chips out

Excellent thread, you should have got a discount for all the free advertising for him. :happyclap:

Relieved it turned out well as these things are always a bit of a worry, but I don't think CA would still be around if they were not good at what they do.

Thanks Sars/drshemming

Yeah, I'll be honest; when I awoke to find rain of biblical proportions outside I was worried. He spent the proper time and effort with pride in his work and the results speak for themselves. Didnt want to believe that until I saw it with my own eyes but it's so good to see the car back in tip top shape. Especially that rear bootlid 15" key scratch gone. Very happy and saved myself about £1000.

wow.. that is good!

On the boot did they blend it to the surrounding area? can you see a join?

They did. Sanded, primed, blended and polished in for a seamless finish. Photos I took dont do it justice.

You're telling me Andy! Been on edge most of the day! All worked out though.

As everyone else has said, very impressive indeed. I would be very interested to see the results in person as it's hard to tell colour matching and stuff from photos.

 Will try and take some better photos once I've left her a few days and treated to a wash.
