Chipping a Z4

Have just bought a Z4 and first time owning one. It is the sDrive23i but I feel it is lacking a bit of power - could not afford the 3.0 or 3.5

I have looked at chipping but would like some advice from anyone who has done this regarding increased insurance and warranty implications. Also any recommendations on a reputable chipping company.

From what I have read with the N52 engine your choices are limited and benefits very small, single figure increases, unless somebody has come up with something recently.

Strangely they quote the same figures for their 'economy' tune for the 2.5, 3.0si and 35is - whilst gaining 8mpg for all of them - yet ONLY 5bhp more for a turbo-charged engine than a NA engine in their 'performance' tune.

I was expecting something like 50bhp/50lbft - not 20 (which is almost the same as the NA engine).

I have been quoted a 20 bhp increase for £299 from ccc but it hardly seems worthwhile. Thanks for all the answers.
