Chipped interrior and GPS wont stay sucked

2 questions.
1) I had my garmin gps suction cupped to the winsheild and it doesn't want to stick..any ideas on how to keep it suctioned to the winshild?
1) How do I fix the chip that occurred from my gps unit falling?

Buy a ProClip forget the cup. Sorry about the chip.

what i do is i blow on the suction (as if you were cleaning glasses with the fog from your breath) and quickly stick it on. it never comes off that way.

the instructions say the suction has to be a little bit moist for it to stick firmly and this procedure which creates moisture on the sunction is perfect and has never come off since.
