Cherished numberplate question

I've got a cherished numberplate on my Zed - with the car when purchased - but am thinking of putting a standard 2005 plate back on the car. I want to try and keep the plate that came with the car, but unsure how I'd go about putting a standard plate back on it to replace the cherished one.

Any ideas?

Forget it...think I found the answer.

Just checked what the original registered plate was and think I'll leave it.

Yeah. I can't un-see Paedo.
Not a good look for a 50 year old man in a roadster
Wife's daughter's ex bought a plate for his camper van.... LU12 KER.
For some obscure reason he thought being labelled a lurker was a good idea.
Glad to say he's long gone!
